Moab

We went to Moab with a bunch of our besties and hiked Arches National Park and camped for a weekend. The company was fantastic and the weather...while insanely windy and dry, was just right. Not too hot, not too cold. It was so great to hang with friends and see some of Utah's greatest sights. I had never been to Arches before so it was quite the adventure for me. We hiked up to delicate arch (which I was SUPER proud that I accomplished) and even the kids did great on it. The only downfall was the snake that we saw on the trail that had me looking over my shoulder every two minutes worried that my Elijah was going to find another one to try and pick up. Anyway- here are some pictures from our adventure.

This is what made the delicate arch hike so hard. Literally three miles climbing up and down the rock face in the sun. No shade and pretty steep. Eeek.

This next picture was pretty much how we found Elijah 99% of the time. He would find the dirtiest, dustiest, most desolate looking spot and lay down on the ground and roll around in the dirt. Boys are so weird. Seriously.

 And last but not least my favorite picture of the group. On our way home we stopped off and Gramp's and Gram's house to say hi and Kennedy was informed that she could wait until morning to get her hair done and we would just give her a bath and wash it that night. I swear she looks happier about not having to have her hair done than she did when we told her we were taking her to Disneyland. Hilarious. Thanks Erin, Zar, Katie, Alex, Marsha, Aaron, and my sweet hubby for an awesome trip. You guys are the best.
